I needed a mentor, I found one in a friend. I just remembered that I have not shared with you a little story about how Akusika (my mentor) and I met. You may not believe this, but here goes.
Akusika and I are class mates. You may be wondering, how can your mentor be your class mate. In 2018, I was shifting to a different career and she had eight (8) years of experience in that field, she knows much more than I do in the design arena and Akusika helped accelerate my adaptation into the graphic design field. Akusika joined Akuse Grade School, where I had my primary education in class six (6). We continued to Akosombo International School, where we had our elementary education. The point is, we’ve been friends for a long time.
